Please note:
  1. All reservations are only confirmed after payment has been completed.
  2. Our pick-up/drop-off service is limited to Hualien City only.

Whale Watching Procedure:

  1. Registration:
    Visit the website / selected tours page and fill in your information.
    If you require pick-up service, please remember to indicate it in the form.
  2. Check-in:
    Please arrive 30 minutes before departure at “Sunward Plaza” — 【Dolamom Whale Watching】to collect your boarding pass (which is also a whale and dolphin commemorative postcard).
    For guests arriving by car or scooter, free parking is available at Sunward Plaza.

  1. Collect Boarding Pass + Attend the Briefing Session:
    After check-in, guests will attend a professional pre-departure briefing hosted by the Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation.
    A professional guide will provide full commentary throughout the tour.
  2. Boarding / Departure:
    The time at sea is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
    Based on 20 years of observation records, the chance of spotting whales or dolphins is as high as 90%, regardless of the departure time.
    (Large whales are rare and depend on luck!)
